About the Programme
This course will provide a tactical and operational insight into strategic sourcing leading on to the effective implementation of a service level agreement. It also explains how to successfully manage a supplier relationship. It outlines the importance of a strategic approach to both sourcing and managing suppliers so that the purchasing role is seen to contribute to the overall effectiveness of an organization’s suppliers. The course also covers dealing with initial approaches from a supplier and motivating a supplier for the benefit of the organization.

Before the course each delegate will be asked to complete a Pre-Course Briefing Form to determine their individual objectives for attending the course. These objectives will be used by the tutor to give on-target training that is focused on the individual delegates.
At the end of the course each delegate will be asked to complete a Personal Development Plan that can be used as part of future appraisals and that will also be an important tool for management reference.
