It relates the performance of the purchasing process to corporate strategy, and focuses on how to manage the purchasing spend and relationships - leading to best value for money. While covering the principles of effective procurement and the procurement process this course will also clearly demonstrate the difference between well-planned procurement, and unplanned procurement.

All courses run during Ramadan from 1st September 2008 to 30th September 2008 will qualify for a 10% discount (including booking online or offline).
To cater for the needs of Muslim delegates fasting, courses will start earlier and all breaks will be substantially reduced.
Tutor / delegate contact time will remain at 6.5 hours.

Before the course each delegate will be asked to complete a Pre-Course Briefing Form to determine their individual objectives for attending the course. These objectives will be used by the tutor to give on-target training that is focused on the individual delegates.
At the end of the course each delegate will be asked to complete a Personal Development Plan that can be used as part of future appraisals and that will also be an important tool for management reference.
