Colette O'Halloran is a Management Development Specialist with over fourteen years experience in the delivery of training in both the UK and Ireland .
Colette worked as a Senior Training Consultant with the Hemsley Fraser Training Group in London from 1994 to 1996, delivering training programmes in the area of Business Skills and Management Development. Prior to that Colette was employed as a Trainer/Facilitator with British Petroleum (BP), London, for seven years, where she was responsible for the development and supervision of Interpersonal and Management Skills Training. At BP, she delivered a consultancy service to clients in training and development requirements, ranging from analysing training needs, to design and delivery of specific in-house workshops. During her time at BP, Colette was also heavily involved with the organization's ‘Culture Change' programme.
Returning to Ireland at the end of 1996 Colette worked as a Training Consultant in her native country from 1997 to 2003. During this period a major assignment was responsibility for the delivery of the Personal Development Programme to IBM, Ireland . This programme included courses in Time Management, Coaching Skills, Team Leadership Skills, Influencing Skills, Presentation Skills, Appraisal Training, and Interpersonal & Communication Skills. Colette also worked with several major organizations in Ireland delivering many of the above individual programmes to their staff.
Colette has worked with organizations from many various business sectors - Finance, Service, Manufacturing and both Public and Private Sectors. Feedback from delegates has consistently demonstrated that learning objectives were not just achieved, but usually exceeded. Follow-up discussions with clients confirmed the effectiveness of the training and its transfer back to the workplace in the form of enhanced performance.
Colette has strong communication and presentation skills, builds relationships easily, and is committed to achieving results. She readily gains a reputation with clients for reliability and an ability to succeed in spite of challenging conditions. She takes time to understand her clients and their needs and her preparation is comprehensive. This ensures that when she delivers courses she is familiar with the culture of the client organization.
In 2004 Colette was invited to join Spearhead Training Dubai as a Senior Management Associate.
