Rachael is a U.K. Training and Development professional whose early experience was gained in a customer-orientated industry. She has been based in the Gulf region since 1999.
Rachael commenced her career in Human Resources with Hilton Hotels (UK), where she held various roles, progressing rapidly, via internal promotions, from Personnel and Training Manager, to Human Resources Manager and Multi-unit Human Resources Manager. During this period she gained broad-based experience in the Human Resources field, providing her with ‘hands-on' experience of management issues.
Rachael's choice of focused specialisation in the field of Training and Development, started with a new position, both for herself and the company. She was given responsibility for implementing and developing the role of a Regional Training and Development Manager covering eight hotels in London . Her brief was to implement a systematic approach to training for all levels of staff, with the aim of achieving a positive impact on business performance. Due to the location of the business, a key consideration was an approach that was suitable for a multi-cultural workforce. Success was achieved due to her excellent planning and organizational skills, which ensured training programmes were effectively designed and delivered. In addition, her friendly personality motivated others to reach, and often exceed, their personal perceived levels of ability.
Rachael's vocational experience has been further expanded by continued professional development through study at Kingston University , UK , culminating in the gaining of her professional qualification in 1993, awarded by The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
Rachael joined Spearhead Gulf LLC in 2002 and is based in Doha , Qatar . Whilst in Doha she has specifically designed courses for the Qatar market, including:-
