Senior Management Associate, Spearhead Training, UAE
Sabah is a dynamic, multilingual and performance-driven management consultant, with 10 years of broad international business exposure in Europe, Russia, Middle East and South Asia. She started her career as a financial analyst at Citibank and then moved to Coopers and Lybrand as a strategy consultant. Sabah spent more than 6 years with PriceWaterhouseCoopers as Senior Strategy Consultant in their London and Moscow offices. Sabah has extensive experience with strategy implementation, business process re-engineering and project planning with a range of multinational clients including Cisco, SAP, Nokia, Philips, WH Smith, Corus Steel and Proctor and Gamble.
Sabah left PwC with two partners to join a technology start-up in London as their senior business development manager. She developed and managed the commercial strategy for the business. She led a team of people and negotiated over 60 contracts with blue chip retailers. The management team was able to sell the company to a larger business.
Sabah also gained valuable hands-on management experience when she co-founded a successful spa business. She supervised final stages of design and infrastructure, recruited staff, coordinated and implemented training, developed and implemented the marketing strategy, created systems and processes to manage sales, customer details, and customer feedback, created HR systems and processes to motivate retain and train staff, negotiated deals with third parties and established consulting projects for other related businesses. She successfully launched another spa after two years.
Sabah has worked for a training company in Dubai for two years. She had reached an excellent understanding of delivering great training programmes.
The daughter of a diplomat, she has lived in over 10 countries including Saudi Arabia, Russia, Egypt, Britain, USA, Poland, Yemen, Mexico, India, and the UAE. She has a very good understanding of different cultures and their traditions. She speaks English, Spanish, Hindi, and Urdu, and has working knowledge of French.
Sabah enjoys writing and has written for the Economist. Sabah has a MSc. Hons in Management Science from the London School of Economics.
Sabah joined Spearhead in 2007 as a senior Management Associate.
