Dania is a US national of Lebanese origin, who has lived and worked in the Middle East since 2003. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from Pepperdine University, California. Dania is fluent in English and Arabic.
Her key areas of training expertise are in: Leadership & Management, Team Development, Coaching & Mentoring, Recruitment & HR / Human Capital, Planning & Organizing, Customer Service, and Customer Relationship Management.
A keen writer, she completed her thesis on Intercultural Communication, and continued to expand her knowledge on this subject, through extensive travel. Her multicultural experiences have enabled her to understand the impact of corporate communication on global workforces, and the specific effect they can have on the success of organizations.
She has excellent planning and communication skills, demonstrated by her clear, structured training methodology. Her Lebanese heritage has given her the advantage of understanding the Arab culture first-hand, and the ability to effectively communicate in Arabic.
Dania understands the importance of good customer service throughout all levels of an organization. Her work as a front-line travel operative in Los Angeles helped shape her attitude towards high levels of customer service. Her work experience in the U.S.A. enhanced her customer-focused approach, which has always been one of her top priorities in her professional career. Dania is passionate about, not only receiving good customer service, but ensuring that others gain the skills needed to achieve this very important competency.
Dania began her training career in 2004 in the UAE, as Training Manager for Puig Middle East, a luxury fragrance company. She successfully managed and trained a team of over 50 consultants, based throughout the MENA region. The focus of the training was on top-class customer service, sales, communication, and self-motivation. Her interpersonal skills, and ability to understand the needs of a culturally diverse environment, helped in making this role an outstanding success.
In 2008, Dania accepted the role of Training Specialist at OSN (Orbit Showtime Network), a leading TV network in the Middle East and North Africa. During her period with OSN, the company experienced a merger, and a change of CEO. These challenges provided her with the opportunity to demonstrate her managerial abilities, by implementing a company-wide ‘change management strategy’. Dania successfully created and designed in-house training programmes that were tailor-made for the network, and which met the specific needs of the delegates and the restructured organization.
In 2012, Dania joined Spearhead as Senior Management Associate adept at pairing solutions with developmental needs. She has a proven track record of successfully designing, developing, and delivering programmes to address functional and business training needs.
As a Trainer, Dania demonstrated competency in areas of customer centricity, staff development, coaching, and motivation. A highly skilled communicator, Dania was accomplished at building strong professional relationships across all levels in organizations.
In 2017, Dania left Spearhead and joined Future Pipe Industry, a leading Dubai-based fiberglass pipe system design, and manufacturing company as a Training Consultant. She was responsible in developing, designing, and implementing the company’s soft skills Training Academy catering to the development needs of over 3,000 employees in the GCC, Europe, Asia, and the U.S.A.
After the end of her consultancy contract in 2019, Dania decided to expand her experience by becoming a Certified Life Coach and Mentor of the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Working with corporate professionals in various roles, made her realise the value in helping develop individuals to find their true potential. She has since been supporting businesses and leaders through her design and delivery of specialised coaching and behavioural change workshops. Her latest assignment has seen her work as a Youth Life Coach and a Leadership Trainer at the ‘Boy Scouts of America Troop 813’ in Dubai.
In 2022, Dania re-joined Spearhead Training as a Senior Management Associate. She is now able to bring all her real-life experiences as a Coach and Trainer, into her training sessions, wanting to share ‘best-practices’ with her delegates, to help them develop new skills, whilst enriching the old ones.
